Penelitian ini mengkaji pembelajaran online PAI di SMAN 1 Tempel selama masa pandemi covid-19. menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dimana pengumpulan data dalam dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara terhadap guru Tempel. Dalam ditemukan bahwa sepenuhnya secara online. Kemudian proses memanfaatkan beberapa aplikasi seperti google classroom, whatsapp, zoom meeting, dan youtube. Hal untuk mengefektifkan daring. Di antara yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, penugasan. Namun juga terdapat berbagai kendala ditemukan. Seperti ketersediaan jaringan internet, paket mahal, serta munculnya rasa malas jenuh. Sehingga komunikasi baik guru, siswa orangtua sangat dibutuhkan mendukung ini.
